What is it about?
Hyoffwind is an industrial-scale installation with an electrolyser of 25 MW in the first phase of the project, with the possibility of upscaling to 100 MW in the second phase. It is estimated to produce 3700 tons of green hydrogen per year. Part of the production will supply hydrogen fueling stations of DATS24 with green hydrogen. Nearby industrial players can also become possible off-takers as well as the future hydrogen pipeline network. The FID has been validated in 2024 and the project will be operational in 2026. Hyoffwind will be included in the Flanders Hydrogen Valley.
