What is it about?
Leading Uruguayan companies in their respective industries are joining forces to realize a project that paves the way for the decarbonisation of timber freight transportation. It consists of the creation of a small-scale modular hydrogen plant, which includes a 4.8 MW solar plant, a 2 MW PEM electrolyzer, and a hydrogen station for storage and supply to Hyundai Xcient trucks. One of the main pillars of this project consists of maintaining an open dialogue with citizens, so as to incorporate opinions, concerns, and contributions, as well as to provide appropriate information and knowledge to clarify doubts and offer training directly on site.
